Breakdown
How this is calculated
GPA = Σ (grade points × credits) ÷ Σ credits
Cumulative = (old GPA × old credits + term points) ÷ all credits
Final needed = (target − now × (1 − w)) ÷ w, w = final's weight
Weighted = Σ (weight × score) ÷ Σ weights
Grade points use the common US 4.0 scale: A 4.0, A− 3.7, B+ 3.3, B 3.0, B− 2.7, C+ 2.3, C 2.0, C− 1.7, D+ 1.3, D 1.0, D− 0.7, F 0. Some schools give an A+ 4.3, use whole letters only, or weight honors and AP classes; choose the option that matches your school. Pass/fail courses carry no grade points and are left out.
"Your grade now" means your average on everything except the final. If the weights you enter for categories do not add up to 100, the grade is calculated from the categories you entered, scaled to 100%.
