Emergency Info Card
If you cannot speak for yourself, paramedics and bystanders can read this from your lock screen or wallet. It is made on this device and never uploaded.
Your lock screen and wallet card
Put it where it helps
Lock screen. Save the image, then set it as your lock-screen wallpaper in your phone's settings. The details sit below the clock and above the bottom buttons.
Also fill in your phone's built-in medical record. iPhone: Health app › Medical ID, with "Show When Locked" on. Android: look for Medical information or Emergency information in Settings (the location varies by phone maker). Emergency workers are trained to check these.
Keep it current. Update the card when your medicines or contacts change.
How this works
Both images are drawn in your browser on a canvas and saved straight to your device. Allergies come first because they matter most when someone is about to be given medicine. If the text is too long to fit, the font shrinks a little and, if it still does not fit, the end of a section is cut with "…" and a note appears above the preview.
Your details are not stored anywhere unless you tick "Remember these details", which keeps them only in this browser's local storage. Anyone who can see your lock screen can read the card, so include only what you are happy for a stranger to see.
