How this works

Times come from the IANA time zone database built into your browser, the same data your phone and computer clock use. It records every country's daylight-saving rules and past changes, so the grid is right for the date you pick, not just for today.

  • The first city's day sets the columns, one per real hour. On the day clocks change there are 23 or 25 columns.
  • Places with half-hour or 45-minute offsets, such as India (UTC+5:30) and Nepal (UTC+5:45), show the minutes.
  • "Working hours" use the start and end you choose for everyone; "awake" is two hours before work and up to four hours after, ending by 22:00.
  • Governments sometimes change their clocks at short notice. Your browser's data is as current as its last update.
